Washington's own filings

Washington has no personal income tax, so there is no state return for most individuals. Businesses file the combined excise tax return for B&O and sales tax monthly, quarterly or yearly, as the Department of Revenue assigns, usually by the 25th of the month after the period. Employers also file quarterly reports for unemployment insurance, Paid Family and Medical Leave and workers' compensation.

Missed a date?

File and pay as soon as you can: penalties and interest grow each month. If you cannot pay in full, the IRS offers payment plans, and we can set one up with you.

This page is general information about US and Washington taxes, not tax advice for your situation. Tax rules change every year; a meeting is where we look at yours.
