Payroll
Paychecks on time, federal payroll taxes deposited and filed, and Washington's paid leave and workers' comp reports handled for you.

Payroll is the one job where late is never acceptable: staff expect their pay on the day, and the IRS charges penalties for late deposits. Washington adds its own reports on top of the federal ones. We run it on your schedule and file every return that goes with it.
What we handle
Paychecks by direct deposit, weekly, every two weeks or twice a month. Federal income tax withholding, Social Security and Medicare deposited on time, the quarterly Form 941 and the year-end W-2s. For Washington: unemployment insurance reports, Paid Family and Medical Leave and WA Cares premiums, and workers' compensation reports to Labor and Industries.
Hiring your first employee
Before the first paycheck there is setup to do: an employer number, state accounts, a W-4 and an I-9 from the employee, and a decision on how often to pay. We take you through it in one meeting and register the accounts for you.
Contractors
If you pay contractors, we collect their W-9s through the year and file the 1099s in January, so nothing is missed at the deadline.
This page is general information about US and Washington taxes, not tax advice for your situation. Tax rules change every year; a meeting is where we look at yours.
