Before we meet

How do I send you my documents?

Through our secure client portal, or in person at the office. We never ask for tax documents by email.

Is the first conversation free?

Yes. Fifteen minutes by phone to understand what you need and give you a fee. Longer planning meetings are charged.

How are your fees set?

As a fixed fee agreed in writing before we start, based on the forms and the work involved. If something new turns up, we tell you before doing more.

When should I book for tax season?

January and February. From March the calendar fills up, and returns booked late may need an extension.

Can you deal with the IRS for me?

Yes. With your signed authorization we answer IRS and Department of Revenue letters on your behalf, and we answer letters about returns we prepared at no extra charge.
